We have been very lucky to have been sent this log book by Joe Moscoe received from his nephew Howard Moscoe.
“My uncle, Joe Moscoe, was captured at Dieppe and spent the war at Stalag VIIIB. I have a copy of his prison log on pdf. If you are interested I will ask his son if I can share it with you. Here it is. I used to spend hours pouring over it as a kid. As a result I read every prisoner of war escape story I could lay my hands on. My uncle was Jewish. He had a star of David tattoo on his arm. Yet he survived the war thanks to the Geneva Convention and the Red Cross.
Regards
Howard Moscoe”
